Xerte for Developers does not seem to publish properly. I have tried to export and run my file on 3 computers now and have tried uploading it to moodle. I even created a blank project and exported that. I tryed that on all 3 computers. I think my moodle server is working as it runs content I create with the Xerte Online Toolkit. When I launch the SCORM zip file or the index.html file I get a progress bar that shows 100% and a message that says Loading XML..........

here is my exported empty project file that does not run.

If you have any ideas please let me know! Thanks.

On some systems the languages folder is not correctly placed in the zip on export.

You can fix the .zip by extracting it, copy the languages folder of the xerte installation into it, and rezip it (if this is a SCORM package, otherwise you don't really need to re-zip it)

Thanks Tom for your help I think things are working now. I haven't fully tested it

For anybody else who is having the same trouble I was having and is still a little bit confused please read on:

I was a little confused by copy the languages folder of the xerte installation into it. As I did not take the time to read fully(sorry Tom). I did not read "xerte installation" so I did not know what file Tom was talking about.

Stupid me anyhow what I did was I knew I had a working SCORM from the online tool kit. I unzipped that and took the language folder from there and replaced it with the one in the SCORM zip file that was not working.

On reflection what I think the instructions were is that Xerte also has a language file located in the Program Files/System files(Where xerte is installed) that should also work as a suitable replacement. I have not tried this yet but it looks fairly similar to the one I used.
