 +====== Chapters ======
 +
 +Chapters provide a means for a large learning object to be divided into small units, in the same way that chapters function for a printed book.  They are added from the drop-down menu that you use to add pages to a project.  Pages can be added within chapters, and can also be dragged from one chapter to another in the Project Tree.
 +
 +Chapters can also be set as markers in the **[[progressbar|Progress Bar,]]** so that learners can see which chapters they have completed.   This is useful when they are completing a learning object over several sessions, or are using the learning object as a resource to refer back to. Learners can also move from chapter to chapter using either the Progress Bar or the Table of Contents.

 +===== Screenshot =====
 +
 +This screenshot shows a learning object with three chapters, with the Table of Contents in a lightbox.  Normally learners would not use both the Progress Bar and the Table of Contents to navigate through a learning object. The learner is looking at the 3rd page of Chapter 1.
