ESL: Vocabulary
XOTDescription
This is a short learning object which provides practice for ESL (English as a second language) learners in listening and note taking for vocabulary development. YouTube videos have been added; this involves copying the embed code from YouTube and pasting it into the page, using Source view in Xerte's text editor. This is simple to do even if you have a limited understanding of HTML. The listening tasks include an open comprehension task with a model answer, and structured note-taking task. A documentation page has been added to provide a takeaway for review.
