Hi everyone,
I have been asked if it is possible to create a drop-down menu in Xerte for users to be able to pick from options in a drop-down list. I have suggested a work-around could be to create using page type 'Quiz'. What do you think?

I don't think there is, but if you do know otherwise, or a work-around way of achieving this, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.
Anne

Hi Anne

There's an option in the gap fill page to fill the blanks using a drop down menu.

You need to select 'Drop down menu' in the editor and mark up the missing words as normal in your text. To add the possible wrong answers for each option you separate them with / next to the correct answer (correct answer should always be first but they are changed to alphabetical order when you play project)

e.g.
The capital of France is |Paris/London/Berlin|

I hope this helps
Fay
