New Xerte Installation

Dear All
I used to work with online version of Xerte but as the created pages disappear at the end of each month, I have decided to install it on a computer. Could you please let me know what version of Xerte I have to install? There is no intension of networking this to other machines.

Hi,

If you just want to run Xerte Online Toolkits locally then the MAXOS usb stick is the easiest way to do this. You simply download a package and copy it to a USB and then Xerte runs from and saves all the data to the stick.

Alternatively go to the toolkits download page www.xerte.org.uk/index.php?option=com_jd...gory&catid=3&lang=en and download the package marked "xertetoolkits_2.1 Version:2.1"

Unzip and there should be instructions in the documentation folder.
