The third 'Escape Rooms in Education Showcase 2025', hosted by Professors Clare Thomson, Heriott Watt University and Briyana Morrell, University of Indianapolis, USA on 15th/16th May, and was the biggest one yet, with attendees from 15 countries around the world.

The Xerte Documentation volunteers are excited to share that the Xerte website has just received a fresh update: Two new showcase areas are now live! 🎉
Xerte 3.13, released on 31 October 2024, includes a number of significant innovations and additional features. These foreshadow radical and exciting developments in the next major release, summarised briefly at the end of this post.

The Xerte project is very pleased to announce that we are running another free online Xerte conference which will take place on Thursday 21st November 2024 with an exciting mix of sessions throughout the day. This is likely to be 9.30am – 4pm UK with 30 minute sessions, the full details of which are to be confirmed at a later date. The conference and sessions will be via Microsoft Teams and full registration details will be sent out in due course, but for now please save the date and register your interest to ensure you will be notified when registration opens.
What sessions will be available?...
The Xerte conference Xerte23 was held in April 2023 with a mix of sessions showcasing the great work happening across Xerte’s global community. The developer team also provided highlights of new features and functionality. The online event, (hosted via Microsoft Teams provided by the University of Nottingham) welcomed a broad community, including those new to the platform, learning designers, media specialists, and technical administrators and developers. 15 of the sessions were recorded, all of which is available via the conference web page created with the Xerte Bootstrap/Site template.
