Well something strange with both problems. The new page is definitely there in Xerte X so perhaps you do have server or proxy caching going on somewhere? Are you able to try via a different internet connection?

Re referrer I have just checked that with Xerte X in case a bug was introduced but it works fine for me. I haven't tested via Moodle 3.5 but I really doubt something has changed with Moodle 3.5 to stop that working. Although I guess it is possible.

Perhaps try again tomorrow after your bad evening is over :-)

Hi Ron, I'll take a good glass of Portugese wine now. Or two. Imported myself this summer, so Cheers! I'll go on tomorrow.

Thanks!

I've just had a report of this not working here too. A project that was working with the 'other' setting in Moodle last week that no longer works. We haven't made any changes to anything in Xerte recently but Moodle was updated on Monday to v3.4

Did you manage to get it working in the end?

Hello Fay

Sadly no. I stopped trying. If you did not changed a thing in Xerte, but upgraded Moodle.... Worth posting it in the Moodle site.

I can test and confirm if this is a moodle issue or a xerte issue or neither but first can we clarify the following:

Exact Xerte version?
Exact Moodle version?

Fay has said Moodle 3.4 and JaapJan has said Moodle 3.5 I think but what Xerte versions?

I tested with Moodle 3.3x and Xerte 3.6 but will test with later versions. I could be wrong but I can't help doubting that this is something that has changed in Moodle to stop it working.

Also without clouding the issue if you are using Xerte X together with Tsugi then LTI is a much more reliable way to restricting access to LO's if that's the main objective.

We have Xerte 3.6. I need to test it in Moodle here myself as I only have heard second hand that it's stopped working.
