multi navigator button position bottom

If I use parts of the multi navigator with the button position 'Bottom' option, then the tabs and such often remain at the top. Why and how do I get them all at the bottom of the screen when option 'bottom' is used?

It's only the navigation types with proper buttons that are affected by that property - slideshow & button.
