I can't get very far on the site as I get

Content Encoding Error

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.

Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

from most links on the site.

I tried it with both FireFox and IE.

This one. ie xerte.org.uk/ Although the problem seems to have resolved itself now and I have a working installation.
