Variables: Example project from guide

Dear all,

In the variables guide there is an example project where calculations are made with help of variables. In this example project, a student can fill in the answer and after clicking "submit" the answer is checked and when correct they're able to advance to the next question and so on.

I'm trying to replicate this project but I cant seem to figure out how the part where the given answer is checked works. I try not to use multiple choice answers but have the students think for themselves instead of have them guessing what answer it should be.

This is the 'Dialog' page. You can add a number of fill in the blank questions to this page & they are shown one at a time.
Incidentally, it looks like the final example in the variables example project is no longer working - I'll look into this & see if I can fix it

The dialog page should be pretty self explanatory to create - you add a number of 'questions' to the page. To use variables in them use the markup described in the guide

Awesome. It does seem to work but the variables stay the same so i'll have to figure out how I can randomize these for each new question or just make new variables.
