I am just starting to use Xerte and can't seem to figure out how to add hotspots to the "Image Viewer" page type. I specifically need to use "Image Viewer" because the image contains many fine details and requires zooming capabilities. I would be very grateful if someone could help me.
I’ve checked the "360º Image" option; while it supports hotspots and zooming, it distorts the image into a 360-degree view, whereas I need it to remain a flat image.
The "Hotspot Image" mode lacks the zoom and panning functions found in the other two modes.

Hello
There is no current way to add hotspots to an image that also supports zooming. I do think that it would be nice to have a page similar to 360 image that supported normal images so I will add it to the list of future possible developments. Unfortunately, I am unable to give a time scale of when this might be done though.
Thanks
Fay
