Hi Guys,
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but couldn't find a topic. We have a sub contractor producing CBT courses to then be input into Moodle as an LMS. They are going to provide us with the SCORM packages (developed in XERTE) for our LMS. Once they provide us with the SCORM package, how do I put it back into XERTE to update, make any changes etc? Is there a way I can do this? Do I need the whole XERTE folder (HTML etc)?
I'm new to the whole learning development/tools and would like to be able to get stuck into this as a project and start developing my own stuff without having to go back to sub contractors etc.
Any info advice would be greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance,

Andy.

Hi Andy,

You would need a Xerte installation. As you are using SCORM packages, a local XAMPP install on your own PC would be enough. You can import the SCORM package into this install and make changes.

Another route would be to create a public facing Xerte install and use LTI to embed the Xerte project into Moodle. Then, the content just stays in Xerte, and as soon as you update, that update is deployed.

I must have done something wrong because it doesn't give that option, and if I create a anything it says file not found.
