Install LDAP on Xerte 3.5

Hello!

I want to connect Xerte to LDAP.
I did set everything correctly according many manuals.

Configured auth_config.php and Ldap.php. But i doesn't work.

And if i set it to LDAP in the management panel it doesn't let me save.

Is there someone who can help me?

If this is an updated install (not a fresh install), did you run upgrade.php (http(s)/<xerte_url>/upgrade.php)

You should set authentication to Ldap.php in management.php and restore the original auth_config.php.

First i did reinstall Xerte 3.5(full install, not the update)
I did change it in the management.php to LDAP and fill in all the LDAP credentials.
But when i save it and return to xerte.domain.nl, i get an error, the page wont load.

Where can i find any error logs to see what's happening?

So manegment.php let's you save now? Good.

To troubleshoot, please set $develop to true around line 26 in config.php, and look in the debug.log file for clues.

I fixed it and get LDAP working. I can login with my corporate account.
I did set authentication to LDAP in management.php
And in the database(PHPmyadmin) under LDAP i filled in the credentials.
In the database i can fill in username/password for the LDAP connection.

I see the LDAP fields(management.php) does not match correctly with the ones in the database. As i can see, the ones in the database are leading.

De LDAP bind in management.php matches with ldap_username in the database.
Can someone check this bug?

Logging in via the LDAP does work.
But it takes very long to login. Like 5minutes for every session.
I tested this on different computers/browsers en with different persons.

I had contact with the IT/network department and everything is set well according to them.

Is there any setting i can use to speed this up?

Ps: im using the LDAP server for another project i build in Laravel and the login goes very fast.
