Hello, wonder if I could explain correctly, due to my language is not english.
I go on though all de steps:
1.Install Xampp
2.Install xerte toolkits_3.5
3. Unzip xerte in dis way: xampp/htdocs/xerte
4. Run Xampp ok
5. Try to open the browse with:
localhost/xerte
localhost/xerte/index.php
localhost/xerte/setup
But nothing works.
I also unninstaled everything and try again, but with the same results.
I don´t know what to do.

I'm having the same problem as Andrea, except with the latest version of xerte. "This site can't be reached" is all I get. I have followed all the steps required, uninstalled xerte files and xampp a few times and started all over again a few times...
I'm on a mac and wonder if that might be the problem.
If anyone has any suggestions/ideas, please let us know.

Just to say that I worked out how to begin installation... I actually had to type localhost:8080/xerte into my browswer.... and it took me to the xerte installation page... now just trying to work out how to change permissions!
