Not doing anything was created by Pitmaster
Hello there, back in business. Having installed the new 3.11. Using Ubuntu 20.04, php 7.4 and apache/mysql. Installation went perfect. Great. But then, first login, nice page and typing my name and password, nothing happens. Nothing at all. Not even something in he log files for apache. And not able to log in.

What is this? All the rights are set well. No complains from apache, not from the installation script prior. And just doesn't go on.
Help?

I assume you chose Db as the authenticatiomn method during installation?

The login you created is the admin login. You cannot use that to login to Xerte itself, only to login on the management.php page (<xerte url>/management.php)

There you will also be able to create user account with which you can login.

The problem is: the admin account made during install reacts on exact the same way. /management.php that is.

Redone the setup. Everything went right. But same result. Nothing in log's. But also nothing happens. Very strange not to have a log or some sign of some error or warning. Nothing, it just do nothing. No log for mysql, apache or xerte's own log.
The url is: xerte.structuurloos.nl/ if someone want to try?

Found it!
I have used a punctuation mark in the password for administrator. It is stored as hexadecimal!!!!!!!!!!! So password 12345@pass is stored as 12345%40pass.

And when you are in the admin page, under "server settings" you can correct this problem.
If you have used a punctuation mark then you need to know his hex number to log in the first time (until it is corrected by the developers).

That's not good. Password is urlencoded before being stored in database. I'll make a github issue for this. (Bugs can be reported on github: github.com/thexerteproject/xerteonlinetoolkits/issues
