Yes but toggling doesn't seem to change anything. This is a fresh install with the download available on the community and Nottingham site. We are using Windows Server 2003.

The link is something like:

http://server/xot/play.php?template_id=23

What happens if you append &engine=javascript, so

http://server/xot/play.php?template_id=23&engine=javascript

This works. Thank you. Will I need to do this for every object or is there somewhere in the code I can force this?

No, it basically enables me a bit more to diagnose and solve the issue.
Do you have access to the mysql database, i.e. can you create a dump of the templatedetails table, and let me know what is in the extra_flags column?

It should contain 'engine=javascript'.

Also, if you use chrome press F12 before toggling between flash and javascript. Any errors shown in the console window?

Do you use XAMPP on Windows 2003, or are you using IIS?

Would you mind trying attached file? IT WILL BREAK YOUR INSTALLATION, so you need to keep a backup of the original file, but it will help me solve this issue.

It belongs in modules\xerte
