OK, I can't seem to edit php.ini so I've opened a ticket with the ISP. I'll report back when I get a reply.

max upload size is set at 24M so I don't think that's the problem.

php.ini file settings:

uol-bioset.com/i.php

We didn't ascertain what happens if you try and upload via Media and Quota in the PRoject's properties. Try and upload a .jpg there. If it appears to upload, you'll be able to click on it and get a URL - open that URL in a browser and you should see the image.

This is important as it will tell us whether it's the flash stuff, or if you have a more general problem.

Hi,

Looking over your phpinfo file I think I've now solved your problem... your upload_tmp_dir variable is not set.

This is the temporary folder where uploaded media is stored during the upload process before the receiving script copies it over. In your case nothing is being stored...

Try asking your admin person to add a suitable value there and all should be fine...

Regards,

John
