Installation Issue

Could you check /var/log/apache2/error_log (or the aoache error log file of your distro) for php errors?

Is this a machine at a provider, or a server of your own. If your own server, what distibution?
Otherwise, I have to look a bit further first.

Hi Bernard,

When you say "after the basic check", does this mean that you have not yet been able to complete setup? Have you gone to /setup and gone through the stages which check permissions, settings etc? What is the URL at the top on the page that fails?
