Installation Issue

I'd like you to enter the mysql admin dbuser and dbpassword in database.php

That way we're absolutely sure there is no problems with rights.

We've had a last suggestion on the making list that it could be a ipv4/6 conflict with how localhost is resolving...

Can you try using 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost in both database.php and the access table in mysql.

I had a email combverstion off-line, and was permitted to have a look myself, and in the end it was a MySQL permission issue.

I have to admit, that cpanel is not a really intuitive tool to see that. So, the xerteonlinetoolkits for this installation is online now...

We have to fix the installer to do a much better job when trying to setup a non-admin mysql user to connect to the database (page2.php). Nothing is checked there.

I'll spend some time on the installer for the next release.

I don't know if you ar in touch with Tom, but yesterday I gave him access to our server and he seems to have resolved the issue apart from s-c-s-ltd.co.uk/xertetoolkits/syndicate.php
still seems odd.

I am happy to make your changes but done want to break what might be working
